Refund Policy

This page explains the current refund position for the LocaleProof website and the intended refund policy once paid LocaleProof Pro plans become available.

1. Current website status

LocaleProof currently operates a waitlist and product-information website. No payments are collected through the public waitlist flow at this time, so there are no refunds associated with current waitlist submissions.

2. Planned refund policy for paid launch

Once paid self-serve plans are enabled, LocaleProof intends to offer the following commercial refund policy:

  • first-time purchases may request a full refund within 14 days of the initial charge;
  • subscription renewals are generally not automatically refunded once a renewal has been processed, but accidental duplicate charges or unintended renewals will be reviewed in good faith;
  • customers may cancel future renewals before the next billing date to avoid additional charges;
  • where access is cancelled, service access may continue until the end of the already-paid billing period unless otherwise stated at checkout.

3. How to request a refund

Refund requests should be sent to anatoly.skuba@gmail.com from the email associated with the purchase. Please include your order email, transaction details, and a short description of the issue so the request can be reviewed quickly.

4. Payment-processor handling

If paid checkout is launched using Paddle or another approved merchant of record, refunds may be processed through that payment provider and may appear on the original payment method or billing statement according to the provider’s operational timelines.

5. Abuse, fraud, and legal rights

LocaleProof may deny refunds in cases of fraud, abuse, or misuse of the service. This policy does not limit any mandatory legal rights that may apply under consumer-protection law.

6. Changes to this Policy

This Refund Policy may be updated before or after the paid launch of LocaleProof Pro to reflect the live billing model, product scope, or legal requirements. The latest published version on this page will apply going forward.
